Cute, huh? I know! And yesterday, oh you should have seen him. So sweet & cute, quietly checking everything out. But today, HA! If he’s not on the boob or sleeping he is just a’ cryin!! Cryin’, cryin’, cryin.

But, even with my crying baby and body in more pain than in pregnancy - sore vag, sore booty, hurtin nipples, achey back- I’m so in love with him!! He cries and we laugh and still call him perfect.

But, on the boob front, when he latches I have to pull his lips back so they don’t tuck under, but otherwise all signs point to good latch.  However, my nips are SO SORE.  Is this just an adjustment phase sore or poor latch sore?  I’ve done all of the tricks to get a better latch that isn’t so shallow but I’m just not sure. My midwife is coming back tomorrow and I will talk with her but any advice or tips from fellow Mom’s would be SUPER appreciated.  Until then, I will feed and then walk around with bags of cold water tucked into my shirt.  No glamour these days!
